Richard Alan Drose

Richard Alan Drose passed away peacefully on December 8, 2019. He was born February 12, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois to John Joseph and Marilyn Brooks Drose.

Richard grew up in Morton, Illinois and Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Brighton High School. Richard found the love of his life in Jose E. Flores, and they spent the past 26 years together sharing adventures and dedication to their dogs. Richard was a multi-talented man with devotion to serving his family and friends the fine food he would create. He will be remembered for his generosity and unique sense of style and amazing sense of humor, though not always appropriate, he had a wickedly funny observation for every occasion.

Preceded in death by parents; and brother Mike Drose. Survived by his life partner Jose E. Flores; sister Marce Miles (Wally); nephews Michael J. Drose Jr. and Alex Miles; nieces, Paige Miles and Kristen Drose.

An open house to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Sunday, December 22^nd at the home of Marce and Wally Miles at 951 Bernay Circle in Sandy, Utah.
