Dick Nuttall 1931 ~ 2014 Richard L. Nuttall, 83, passed away peacefully, at home, on Christmas Eve. Born August 24, 1931 in Salt Lake City. Graduated from Cyprus High School in 1950, before serving 4 years in the U.S. Airforce. He married Elizabeth Andra and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Sherry and Connie. In 1978 Dick married Norma Mangum (and her 4 children), Steve, Caylinn, Randee and Jenny, becoming the adored father of six. Dick was a dedicated employee of Western and Delta Airlines for 37 years, and made friends wherever he went. He was an active member of the LDS church and loved serving in his many callings. We will miss stealing sips from his Diet Coke, the twinkle in his blue eyes, his contagious laugh, bear hugs, tap dances, unique whistles, and his John Wayne shrine. He was an adored grandfather of 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and prayed for each of them individually. Survived by his soul mate, Norma, children Sherry (Dan) Tuttle, Connie Mast, Steve Mangun, Caylinn (Jeff) Rowley, Randee (Lee) Nielson, Jenny (Darrin) Porter. Preceded in death by parents, Asel & Edith Nuttall; sister, Beulah (Bob) Jones; brother, Jack (DeAun) Nuttall. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Park 2nd Ward, 5255 South 3200 West. Viewings will be held Tuesday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
