Rick Lee Murray

Ricky Murray, age 65, passed away on February 8, 2021, while in the care of Avalon Central Care Facility in Salt Lake City.

Rick was born January 26, 1956 in Murray, Utah to Clyde Dean Murray and Lenore Richardson of Roosevelt, Utah. When Rick was five, his family moved to Roosevelt. He graduated from Union High School. He enjoyed wrestling and sports.

He was a long-haul truck driver for several years. He served for Deseret Industries.

He loved animals. He was a country boy at heart. He loved the rodeo and western music. He had a fun personality.

He is survived by his children Rebecca and Tyrel Murray; and his siblings and their spouses, Aaron Dean Murray (Ramona), Gayla Mumford, Terry James (Barbara) Murray, Ivan Lester (Catalina), Kim Clyde Murray and Bryan Neal (Anna) Murray.

A viewing will be held Friday, February 12, 2021, 9-10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, where family and friends can view by livestream at:  https://vimeo.com/510790319. Graveside services at 1:00 p.m. at Altonah Cemetery, Altonah, Utah.
