Robert A. Johnson 1930 ~ 2013 Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully at home in Kaysville on February 16, 2013. Robert Alvin Johnson, 82, was born May 31, 1930 in Everett, Massachusetts to Oscar and Elsa Johnson. He moved to Salt Lake City at the age of 12 and later served an LDS Mission in Sweden from 1950 - 1953. Afterwards he was called to serve in the Korean War. From there, he graduated from the University of Utah and was a successful Certified Public Accountant. Bob married Sharlene Felt on September 19, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had three children and were later divorced. On April 17, 1992 he married Judith Abbott Hoggan; the marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church where he faithfully served in many callings. His favorite hobbies included dancing, growing and selling winter hardy cactus, gardening and going to dinner with friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and play with everyone he knew. He loved the Boston Red Sox, BYU Cougars, and Utah Jazz. Bob is survived by his sweetheart, Judy; two sons: Ronnie Johnson, SLC, UT and Kenny Johnson, Layton, UT; two step-daughters: Debbie (Bruce) Lee, Logan, UT, Lori (Dee) Wilkinson, Mountain Green, UT; 10 grandchildren; sister, Margaret Okelberry, Syracuse, UT; brothers: Donald (Sharon) Johnson, Syracuse, UT and Dale Johnson, Oregon. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, KayLynn Johnson; and brother-in-law, Jack Okelberry. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville 20th Ward, 855 E. Mutton Hollow Road, where viewings will be held Thursday, 6 - 8 p.m. and again Friday, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist Memorial Park at Layton.
