ROBERT ANDRA 1946 ~ 2014 Robert Andra passed away on December 4, 2014, age 68. He suffered a stroke in October and was on the rehabilitation road when he was unexpectedly struck down with an abdominal aneurysm. He was born August 25, 1946 in Logan, Utah to Walter and Cleo Busk Andra and was the middle child of 5. He attended school in Cache Valley and eventually graduated from Utah State University with a degree in accounting. He always stressed the importance of education to his children. He was drafted into the armed forces during the Vietnam conflict. He chose to serve in the U.S. Navy on the USS Daniel Webster and was honorably discharged in 1971. Robert met the love of his life, Glenna Anne Larsen and asked her for her hand in marriage after knowing her for only 1 week. They were married 3 months later, July 31, 1970 and remained married for over 44 years. Eventually being blessed with 2 children: Kimberly and R. Paul Andra. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by his wife, Glenna; 2 children; 1 grandson, and all 4 of his siblings. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Kearns 6th Ward Stake Center, 4260 W. 5215 S., Kearns. Family and friends can meet at 10:00 a.m. for remembrances and a family prayer. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers from the University of Utah Stroke Team, Rehabilitation Unit, and Wendy Macey, PA-C. Their kindness and skills were amazing during these last months.
