Robert M C Harsh

Robert M C Harsh left this earthly life and was received into his heavenly home Nov. 22, 2017. Robert was born Dec. 15, 1997, the 7th of 8 children born to Lemuel Harsh III and Gina Smith Harsh. His life was dedicated to the joy and peace of those around him. He had a smile that could actually light up a room and a hug that could turn a day - and even a life - around. He was a kind, humble and loving soul to all who knew him: his family, AISU friends, YSA ward, neighbors, Chick-fil-A team and ballroom dance family. Robert truly had a heart of gold and did everything in his power to spread joy and lighten the burdens of others. He was a man of strong convictions and tried to right many social ills. He was an elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Now that Robert has returned home, his lifelong effort of spreading joy and happiness has only just begun; though his premature departure saddens us, we must remember his service is needed elsewhere right now. Robert is survived by his parents, Lemuel and Gina Harsh; sister Martha (Allen) Levie and children: Abigail, Dennis, Paul, Eve, Esther, Kate, William, Zion and Elizabeth; sister Mary (Jeff) Tanner, children: Hyrum, Joseph, Joshua, Daniel, Naomi; brother Lemuel IV (Chiya), children: Faith, Lemuel Alexander, Logan; sister Esther, brothers Don, Taft, and Jesse. Let us all remember the joy that Robert brought into our lives and strive to give that same joy to each other while he's away from us for a time. Until we meet again and receive one of his great big hugs, we're grateful for the light he brought into the world. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 11:00 am, viewing from 9:00-10:30 at the Taylorsville Gardens First Ward, 4252 Bennion Rd Taylorsville, Utah 84129.
