Robert M. Jensen 1931 ~ 2011 Robert Moyle Jensen, of South Jordan, Utah, passed away May 21, 2011 after many years with congestive heart failure and finally cancer. He was born August 24, 1931 in Redmond, Utah to George Ernel and Leah Winkler Jensen. He met Marilyn Fairbourn during their years at North Sevier High School and they married November 26, 1952 in the Manti Temple. Married life began in Southern California with Robert working produce for Ralphs Grocery Co. Moving to Utah he became produce manager for Safeway and finished with medical retirement doing custodial work the LDS Church. Robert loved all outdoor life - hunting, fishing, gardening and skiing. Served in various church callings - Ward Clerk, Executive Secretary, Cub Master, Stake missionary, temple worker and always a home teacher. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; 6 children: Randall L. (Carolyn), Kathleen (Bill) Harper, Jeffrey C. (Camille), Mark L. (Glenys), Keith D. (Danille) and Ann-Marie (Deane) Woodland; 23 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, LaPreal (Dee) Larsen; and many extended family. Preceded in death by parents; brothers: OrLee and George Rex; sister, Carrol; twin sons, Robert and Russell; grandson, Justin Condie. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at the Country Crossing 1st Ward, 11173 South Copper Point Way (3200 W.) where viewings will be held Thursday, 7-8:30 and Friday, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Redmond Cemetery.
