Robert Verle Middlemas

Robert Verle Middlemas died December 20, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He left the world peacefully, with a smile. He was born May 12, 1923. He served his country in the Marine Corps during both WW II and the Korean Conflict. He had a 40-year career in flight operations at United Air Lines. He was generous with his time as a volunteer, teaching business fundamentals to young people. Every evening after dinner, he would kiss his wife; every night, he told her, I love you. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Adelaide; 3 children; Michael R. Middlemas (Nancy), Ann Daniels (Richard), and Kay Gardner (Martin), 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his gentle sense of humor, and his deep commitment to his family.
