Robert William Barwick Jr.

Robert William Barwick Jr., our beloved father passed away November 8, 2015. He was born August 18, 1947 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Robert William and Sarah Baird Auld Barwick. He married Barbara Lynne Hilton on March 3, 1984 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on March 3, 1988. They have 3 daughters who brought much light and laughter to their home. A true outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He loved mechanics and worked on many cars throughout his life; his favorite was a black Chevy Corvette. He was a proud fire inspector for the Rock Springs Fire Department for many years and also worked for Questar Gas Company and Jet Blue airways. A quiet man, our dad worked beside his loving wife to serve others around him. He was a high priest in the LDS church and held many callings. He served a mission for the LDS church in his later life at the Humanitarian Center. Although he struggled with many health issues, he took every opportunity to learn. We miss our daddy-o, but we are blessed with the knowledge that we are able to be a family forever! He is survived by his children Raona "Ranie" Marie, Sarah "Sadie" Lynne and Emily "Emma" Jayne Barwick; his sisters Marisue Noble and Lil Serna; mother-in-law; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sweetheart; parents; brothers Jack Edwards, Jerry Cederburg, Bill Cederburg, Jim Cederburg; and 2 stillborn daughters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 10:00 a.m. at Bennion West Stake Center, 3045 West Bernina Drive (5837 So.). Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, 9-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Rock Springs Wyoming.
