Roland Oliver Olsen, Ronald was born August 2, 1920 in Delta, Utah to Oliver S. Olsen and Lillian Irene Larsen. He passed away on September 18, 2013 in the Jordan Valley Hospital in West Jordan, Utah, as a result of a fall he suffered in his home. He was the oldest of 1 brother, Leland and 1 sister, whom he was separated from at an early age. He spent several years in the Army and Air Force helping defend our country in World War II. He made his living as a truck driver for Amoco working there for 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He liked to be outdoors enjoying nature and hunting and fishing. The family dearly loved him, and he will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Leona Fay and his brother. He is survived by his wife Sara, 3 stepdaughters and 2 stepsons. A viewing will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Monday, September 23, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral that will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
