Ronald Ben Andrew 1930 ~ 2011 Andy Ronald Ben Andrew, age 81, pased away Monday, October 24, 2011. Born June 29, 1930 to Benjamin and Melba Andrew in Salina, Utah. Ron enjoyed sports and excelled in football and track at Granite High, where he graduated in 1949. That same year, he married Lillian Mantyla. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Ron and Lil were married 61 years until Lillian s passing July, 2011. Ron was employed at Trane Company in Salt Lake and later transferred to Lexington, Kentucky until his retirement. Dad was industrious, a hard worker, and loved fishing, hunting and sports. The deer hunt in October was Dad s favorite. In later years, he enjoyed his large garden and sharing produce with family and friends. Ronald is survived by his children: Tami (Gary) Fullmer, Linda (Paul) Gardner, Kirk (Lynnette) Andrew, Korey (Keith) Bethers and Sonja (Kurtis) Aoki. Ronald leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lillian; sister, Norma Searle; and grandson, Clark Fullmer. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and aides at Sunbrook Hospice that served our father in the last months. We will be forever grateful. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview Ward Chapel, 4845 Woodhaven Drive. A viewing will be held from 9:00-10:45 a.m. at the church, prior to services.
