Ronald Sullivan

Ronald Thomas (Jim) Sullivan 89, of West Valley City, our beloved husband, father, grandfather. and great grandfather, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.

Jim was born November 21, 1933, to Doston Thomas and Beulah Jane Sullivan in Gamerco, NM. He was the second of ten children.

Jim served for two years in the United States Army.

He married the love of his life, Peggy Mortensen, on March 21, 1960 in Elko, NV. Together they had three wonderful children, Jim, Patti and Tim.

Jim was a proud 56 year member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #3 as a Heavy Duty Repairman and Certified Welder.

He is survived by his wife Peggy of 63 years, son Jim (Pam) Sullivan of Highland, UT, daughter Patti (Bill) Cornish of West Valley City, UT, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Sandra, Karen and Kathy.

Preceded in death by his son Timothy, his parents, and his siblings Duke, Sharron, Duane, Hank, Arlee, and Dawn.

A private family service will be held.
