Rosalie Mire Jones

Rosalie M. Jones Classy Lady Rosalie Jones, 79, of Kearns, Utah passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at the Rocky Mountain Murray Care Center. Rosalie was born April 9, 1932, in Frostburg, MD. She was the youngest of five siblings. She married Gratten S. Jones on September 21, 1947. They were the parents of three children: Dianna Stein, Keith Jones and Roger Jones. They had two grandchildren, Justin Jones and Gregory Jones; one great-granddaughter, Zoey. Rosalie was a homemaker and worked in the bakery at Albertson s in West Valley. In her later years she also was a food demonstrator at Price Savers. She was a volunteer hostess at the Kearns Senior Citizen Center. Rosalie loved to collect antiques; as you were soon made aware when you walked into her home. She had a knack for interior decorating. If you were visiting Rosalie, you didn t get out of the house without a good home-cooked meal. She was an animal lover and had numerous dogs and cats throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters and her daughter. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Rocky Mountain Murray Care Center and their caring Hospice Team. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Frostburg, MD, where Mom s ashes will be buried next to Dad.
