Rose Marie Pazell Bodine 1928 - 2012 Rose Marie Pazell Bodine passed away, due to age related causes, on February 7, 2012 at the age of 84, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born January 18, 1928 to Mate Pazell and Mary Niksic Pazell in Highland Boy, Bingham Canyon, Utah. She was the 10th of 14 children. Rose married her sweetheart, Karl Oscar Bodine, September 17, 1948 in Salt Lake City and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Rose worked off and on during her lifetime and provided bookkeeping services for her husband s several businesses but she was mostly a life-long homemaker providing a loving, nurturing home for her husband and children. She loved and adored her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren and wanted to have them in her home at every opportunity. Everyone loved staying with Grandma and always loved her sumptuous, bounteous meals when all the family would gather in her home. She was a wonderful cook. Karl and Rose were generous, opening their hearts and home to many. She was always busy helping someone, transporting friends to an appointment, or doing whatever she could for those who needed help. A convert toThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served in the Relief Society and Primary in many varied callings throughout the years. Karl and Rose served a mission for their Church in the member locator department. They served in the Temple in a sealing group for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her and were served by her generosity and loving spirit. She is especially missed by her loving and attentive husband and their children: Larry Bodine (Gaylene), Karen Wardle (Steve), and Tamara Bodine who provided especially loving care over the past months; and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Preston, Bret, Lindsay, Kelcie, Brad, and Erin and great-grandchildren; sisters Elma Sims (George), Eva Benis (John), Lucille Markus, and brother, Matt Pazell (Mary). She is preceded in death by her parents, many siblings, and grand-daughter, Shayanne. A viewing will be held in her honor on Sunday, February 12, 2012, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012, 11 a.m. at the Little Cottonwood 5th Ward, 6350 So. Rodeo Lane (1550 East) with a viewing held from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services.
