Ryan Douglas Newson Life of the Party Ryan Douglas Newson, 24, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 23, 2013. He is a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all. Ryan is survived by his parents, Doug and Christy, his siblings: David, Elyssa, Liz, Dave, Lindsey, Amy, and Ashley; also by his sweetheart Kylee Bee and his dog Miles. Ryan was always the life of the party and loved making people smile. Friends and family could always plan on laughing when Ryan was around. Ryan loved playing with his niece and nephews Lauren, Benjamin, and Ryan. He had a passion for restoring his vintage 1968 Chevelle SS with his Dad, an 8-year project that was recently completed. Ryan loved playing sports; in high school Ryan enjoyed Cross Country, Track, Volleyball, and Football. He also played competitive soccer for many years and won a lot of hardware. He gave two years of service in the England Manchester Mission with great success. Ryan was a graduate of Centennial High School; he was currently a senior in pursuit of a political science degree at BYU. Ryan was an avid fan of the UNLV Runnin Rebels. He earned the Eagle Scout award. Ryan enjoyed camping and fishing. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, May 28 between 6-8:30pm PST at The LDS Chapel 3300 North Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV. A funeral will be held in his honor at the same location on Wednesday, May 29 at 11am PST. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the funeral.
