Ryan Wood

Ryan Merrill Wood , 46 born January 2, 1977, passed away peacefully at his parents home in his room on April 20, 2023, in Taylorsville, UT.

He is survived by his parents Vernal (Red) & Kathy Watts Wood. Big sis Lisa Wood, Daughter Rianne Marya Wood, granddaughter Ari Neveah Reid Wood, Nephews Zachary Southworth( Jessica) and Vinnie Hildebrand, Grandparents Jimmie and Merrill Wood, his loving dogs Finnigan and Zoey.

The angels came and called his name and took him by the hand. We know he is no longer in pain. He is loved by many and so many memories.

Ryan was a proud member of Union 312 Local Sheet Metal Workers and Iron Workers, Union Local 27 for over 20 years. He worked in North Dakota on the oil rigs. Ryan was an amazing artist, his metal work was unique and beautiful. He could look at something and turn it into an amazing work of art.

Ryan had many lifetime friends in his short stay on Earth. He could put a smile on anybody's face.

Thank you for all the love and support and reaching out to us. Keep his beautiful memories alive so he will always be in our hearts and souls.

We are having a celebration of life for Ryan on Saturday June 3, 2023 from 12:00 - 3:00. At Mc Dougal funeral home 4330 South Redwood Road Taylorsville, Utah 84123. There will be an open mic so please feel free to get up and share your stories about Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Ryan's baby granddaughter Ari Neveah Reid Wood born April 18, 2023. She has a forever guardian angel.

Ryan you will be so missed! Though our hearts are broken we know you are at peace. Thank you for being our sunshine. XOXO
