Sarah Lynne Barwick

Sarah Lynne (Sadie) Barwick slipped peacefully into the spirit world in her sleep Saturday, October 6 2018.She was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on July 18, 1987 to Robert William and Barbara Lynne Hilton Barwick. After moving to Utah in childhood, Sadie attended Bennion Elementary, Bennion Jr High and Taylorsville High School. The middle child of a great sister team, Sadie was an animal lover and friend to all. Sadie's compassion, sensitivity and tender heart touched many who knew her. Sadie struggled with many physical and mental challenges in her life. She worked diligently to find relief and joy and she found her greatest love in the equestrian arena, beginning with her 4-H club. She loved working near horses, and her dearest friends were among those who shared that same passion. Sadie's empathy touched many who also had challenges in life, and her listening ear is unmatched. We are going to miss her subtle wit, gentleness, and example of endurance. We are grateful for her many doctors who worked so hard to help Sadie find physical and mental relief. They changed her life for the better! Sadie is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, favorite uncle Jack Edwards and a few wonderful friends. She is survived by her loyal emotional support dog, Roxie Ann, her rescue horse, Missy, her devoted sisters Raona (Ranie) and Emily (Emma), and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our sister team is incomplete now, but we look forward to when our losses are made up! Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at the Bernina Ward, 3045 West Bernina Drive, Taylorsville, where a viewing will be held from 8:30 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow services in the Mountain View Cemetery, Rock Springs, Wyoming, under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
