Sarah A. Woolsey Smith

Sarah A. Woolsey Smith passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, of natural causes, at her home in Kearns, with her daughter Joy by her side.

Sarah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many different positions during her lifetime.

Sarah was born in Cedar City, Utah on August 14, 1923 to Martin Owen and Janette Woolsey. She married Louis Smith, now deceased, on January 20, 1942, while he was serving in the Army. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.

She is survived by two daughters, Joy Smith and Audree Llewelyn (Rodger); son Jay Smith (Cheryl); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Lester and Kenny.

Sarah was a very loving and caring person. She leaves behind many people who will miss her dearly, friends and family too many to name.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 South 4400 West, West Valley City, Utah.
