Scott Brinkerhoff

Scott K. Brinkerhoff, 57, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Taylorsville, UT.

Scott was born on July 10, 1967 in Murray, UT, to Kay Lee Brinkerhoff and Sharon Morris Brinkerhoff.

Scott attended Taylorsville High School and went on to earn his GED.

He had many occupations, but his favorite was using brick and rock to design beautiful works of art. For many years he worked for All Rockzz & Stonezz Masonry and enjoyed his work every day. His works can be seen throughout the valley.

In his youth, Scott's favorite activities were to hike, fish and be outdoors with the scouts. He also played on many baseball teams. He loved serving in the young men's program. He enjoyed camping and doing different activities with the youth.

Scott looked forward to when his nieces and nephews came to visit as well as training and playing with his beloved dog, Daisy.

One of Scott's highlights was when he was able to go through the Jordan River temple in 2019.

Scott is survived by Sharon Brinkerhoff - mother, of Taylorsville, UT, and three sisters, Janine Popelmayer of Sandy UT, Diana Carter (Steve) of Maineville OH, and Suzanne Tulane (Dennis) of Scottsdale AZ. One nephew and eight nieces. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Kay Brinkerhoff.

A viewing will be on Friday October 18, 2024, at 6-8 pm at McDougal funeral home, 4330 South Redwood Road Taylorsville, UT. The graveside service will be October 19, 2024 at 12:00pm, at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT.

The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and caregivers that took care of Scott in the last years of his life.
