Sharon Faye Solt Loscher

Sharon was born January 6, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dean Mason and Evelean Brown Solt and raised in Swede Town, Utah. She passed away January 25, 2015 at 72 years of age surrounded by her family. Sharon married her beloved, eternal companion, Harold Peter Loscher, April 19, 1963 in the Manti Temple. Sharon was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities and callings, including her many years of service in the temple. She loved camping, playing games, reading books, canning food, cooking, crocheting and cross stitch. She enjoyed being with family and friends, taking road trips and vacationing. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Her greatest enjoyment was her family and was dedicated to their happiness and well-being. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold; 7 children: Harold Jr. (Tami), Allen (Paula), James (Jill), Kent (Teresa), Lee, Janice (Ben), Jason (Kristin); 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings. Preceded in death by parents and 3 siblings. Special thanks to the blood and marrow transplant and oncology staff at LDS Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church, 934 West Fremont Ave (1120 S.). Viewings will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
