Sharon Ormond, loving wife and mother, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2018. Born March 15, 1940 to Opal Grace John and Arthur Louis Brown. She married her eternal companion, William Hugh Ormond, on November 27, 1976 in the Salt Lake Temple. She served an honorable mission to England. She graduated from B.Y.U. and became a home economics teacher, teaching in Alaska and Idaho. She loved to cook and to sew, using these skills to serve others when she could. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Kay, Henry and Dean. She is survived by her sisters, Norma, (Irvin) Scott and Fay (Max) Howell; sisters-in-law, Fern and Mary; husband Bill; children David (Holly) Ormond and Ann-Marie Ormond; and numerous nephews and nieces. We would like to thank A-Plus Home Health and Hospice for the tender, loving care of mom over the last several months. A special thanks goes out to Kathy, Linda and Heidi, who helped and cared for mom so much. A graveside service, for family only, will be held, Saturday, March 10th, 12:00 noon at Tooele City Cemetery, 361 S 100 E, Tooele, Utah. A memorial service for family and friends, will follow on Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at the LDS Church, 2835 South 2855 West, West Valley City, Utah.
