Sharyl Lynn Simons

Sharyl Simons 1933 ~ 2012 Our mother, a very gentle soul, Sharyl Lynn Moore Simons, passed away peacefully June 9, 2012. She was born May 7, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was quickly adopted by Ruby and Leonard Delroy (Jack) Moore. She spent her childhood in Ogden where she made many life long friends. On July 23, 1955 she married Albert Lee Simons. They spent many years in California before returning to Utah in 1973 Lee passed away March 29, 1981. She spent the last 31 years of her life missing him. She filled her time cooking and also volunteering at Primary Children s Hospital. She loved the little ones. She was a very upbeat, positive person and rarely had a bad work to say about anyone. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Karen and Doug Rowe, Liz and Ben Savage and Brad and Tracy Simons; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. At her request there will be a simple graveside service on Thursday, June 14, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Since it was her request to be buried in her jeans, please come in yours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Primary Children s Medical Center. A celebration of her life will follow the graveside service. Location to be announced at the service. It will be warm, so dress accordingly. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
