Shauna Candace Richards Gottwald

Shauna Candace Richards Gottwald 1944 ~ 2012 Beloved daughter, wife, mom, and grandma, Candace Candy , was born the second of six children on Aug 16, 1944 to Ralph J. and Shaughnessy Salisbury Richards in Logan, Utah. She lost her valiant battle with diabetes on April 2, 2012. Candy is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served as Primary president, ward Relief Society president, in the stake Relief Society presidency, and various teaching callings. She always held a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ that sustained her through many pains and joys in life. Survived by her husband, Keith H. Gottwald, children; Shauna Nanell (Brad), Tamsen (Eric), Bronwyn (Teddy), William Joshua (Paige), Josef Nat (Holly), Nicholas (Natalie); 16 grandchildren; and siblings; Mike (Dawn), Steven (Carol), Laurie (Mike), Timothy (Jana), and Clinton (Sylvia) . Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Roxanne; and son, K. Micah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville South Stake Center, 3495 West 4850 South, Taylorsville, Utah. Viewings will be held Friday 7- 9 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
