Shirley E. Stephens

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Shirley Stephens, passed away November 18, 2015. She is survived by her brother, Dwayne DePriest (Rose); daughters Colleen (Ben) Heerey, Kathy Smith; sons Lee (Kate) Stephens, Gary (Teresa) Stephens; grandchildren Heather, Erika, Michael, Daniel, Lyn, Pete, Todd, Brandy, Phil, Liz, Anna, Marcus; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Stephens; mother Florence DePriest; brothers Leonard and Adrian; sisters Guen, Mary and Barbara. She worked many years as a cake decorator for Albertsons. In the latter part of her life, she was very happy to serve the Adopt a Native Elder program, where she was loved by all. We love you so much Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma. You are greatly missed. A memorial service will be held sometime next spring. Place of Birth:Colona Pachico, MexicoPlace of Death:West Valley City
