Sidney Holmes Christensen

Sydney H. Christensen Love Without Measure On August 20, 2013 Sydney Holmes Christensen moved onto her next journey surrounded by her adoring family. She was born April 8, 1941 to Sheldon and Ila Holmes. She married Rex Christensen (later divorced) and had two daughters. Through love and marriage she has 15 grandchildren who call her grandma, and one great granddaughter. She is happily reunited with her daughter, Nikole and her mom and dad. She is survived by brother, Doug (Nan) Holmes; sister, Julie Kent; brother, Kirk (Patsy) Holmes; daughter, Colbie (Gary, Kylie, Taylor, Parker) Hooper; and Nicholas (Jazzy - great granddaughter) Christensen. We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jared W. Parker for his extraordinary perseverance in helping to diagnose her when our hopes were bleak. His loving care and concern will forever be appreciated by the family. Additional thanks to our nurse, Spicy Kim , she brought joy with every visit and made a difficult time bearable with her love and happiness. There will be a celebration in Sydney s honor on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 pm at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT.
