Sonya Rae Howell

Sonya passed away peacefully on March 20, 2016, in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on April 6, 1971, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Sheri Kiddy and Ray Haskins. She married William Howell on September 14, 1994, in Louisiana. Sonya had a great sense of humor, was caring, loving, compassionate, and humble. Her faith and family were the most important things to her. Sonya enjoyed the outdoors, scrapbooking, photography and learning about her family history. She was strong, patriotic and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed working with the young women in her ward. We know she is at peace and is free from her earthly cares. We will miss her greatly and we can't wait until we will be united again. Sonya was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lidy Haskins. She is survived by her husband of 22 years; sons, Michael, Raymond (Delayna), William Jr., and Stanley; mother, Sheri; sisters, Ronna and Brenda; and brother, Jason (Becky). A viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, at the LDS Church located at 2131 West 3100 South in West Valley City. Interment - Taylorsville City Cemetery.
