It wasn't supposed to be like this. We were supposed to hear you cry, not just when you were born, but whenever you hurt. We were supposed to see you grow and take your first step and cry as we said goodbye for your first day of kindergarten. We were supposed to see you grow and teach us how to raise you. Instead, you were born quiet and still. There was no cry; no frantic arms or kicking legs. There will be no rocking you to sleep or hearing you talk and laugh for the first time. Yet, you are still here. You have patiently waited for us as we cried when we said goodbye. We are taking our first steps into the world again. You are teaching us in ways that we did not imagine. Thank you Spencer. We love you forever; Jennifer and Joshua, Natalya, Alexandra, Genevieve, Parker and Andrew. Each life here on earth makes a difference. We would like Spencer's life to make a difference for someone else. In lieu of flowers, we would love a baby gift instead; blankets, diapers an outfit. We would like to donate these items to a family in need. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015, 4:00 p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
