Spencer William Gardner

With great sadness we share with you the passing of our dearly-loved son, Spencer William Gardner, who was killed in a tragic automobile accident along with his friend, Andrew. Spencer was born June 10, 1985, attended Truman Elementary school, graduated from Taylorsville High school in 2003, and was taking classes at SLCC. He earned his Eagle Scout rank at 14 years of age. His favorite things to do were playing games with his friends or hanging out with his brothers, sister and family. He was currently employed at Overstock.com where he loved working and enjoyed great friendship with many co-workers. Spencer had a fantastic, quirky sense of humor and always had everyone laughing. He even performed a few times at Wise Guys. He loved reading and has read thousands of books. He was an excellent writer. He was the nicest, sweetest friend, son and brother you could ever imagine. We will miss him exceedingly and will never be able fill the void he leaves in our lives, and look forward to a time when we can be with him again. He is survived by his parents, Lauralee (Lolly) and Glenn Gardner, brothers Bennion (Kiera) Gardner and Riley (Janae) Gardner, sister Abbielee Gardner, cousins, nephews, and many, many friends.
