Stanley Clawson Johnson Born July 30, 1930 in Garfield, UT. Died peacefully July 2, 2013 at home. Preceded in death by parents, 4 brothers, 1sister and 1 grandson. Survived by wife of 61 years, Laverne Larson, as well as 1 sister, 6 daughters, 2 sons, 39 grandchildren, and 47 great-grandchildren. Student Body President at Cyprus High School. BS, Chemical Engineering, U of U. Served as a Bishop and 2 full time missions with his wife. Taught, loved and was a great influence on the youth. Loved to read and play golf. Loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville Gardens 1st Ward, 4252 South Bennion (1950 West) Viewings will be held Friday, 5-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Sunset Gardens.
