Stephanie Lucas

October 14, 1979 — September 29, 2024

Stephanie H. Davenport Lucas

Stephanie was born on October 14, 1979, in Murray, Utah to Keven and Annette Davenport. She passed away on September 29, 2024, from complications from a four year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Stephanie graduated from Alta High School. GO HAWKS! She attended the University of Utah where she received a nursing license. She also attended Salt Lake Community College.

Over the years Stephanie had many jobs, but loved her employment at Mountain Crane of Salt Lake City.

Growing up Stephanie enjoyed being a fast pitch pitcher for her accelerated soft ball team. Stephanie loved all critters big and small. She loved the outdoors.

Stephanie never complained. She did hard things with ease. Stephanie was a tough girl, but she did not like onions or hoppers. Stephanie was a social butterfly. She made friends every where she went. Her bestest friend in the whole world was her husband Rabon who cared for her as tenderly and gently as humanly possible.

Rabon was a major part of her wellness. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her, as they reflect on the beautiful moments and laughter they shared together. Though her time with us has come to an end, the impact she made on the lives of others will continue to inspire and guide them.

We will always hold her close in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we were fortunate to spend with her.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital where she received outstanding care from their ICU Department.

Survived by her parents, Keven & Annette Davenport, her husband, Rabon Lucas, brother, Keven, Sister, Chelsea, son, Tyler Strickland, step-children that she adored, Rabon Jr., Isaiah, and Isabelle. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and great-grandmother Lillian Tafoya.

A Viewing will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.

Cremation to follow.
