Stuart Mosoff Loved Father and Grandfather Stuart Barry Mosoff was born August 19, 1942 in Chicago, IL. He passed away on December 12, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah of congestive heart failure. He was the son of Hymen and Rosalyn Mosoff. When Stuart was a young age his family moved to California where he attended schools and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, California in 1961. Upon his graduation he immediately enlisted in the Army and served in Okinawa, Japan. After leaving the Army, Stuart resided in Southern California until 1989 when he moved to Utah. Stuart married Kim Mosoff December 19, 1992 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. During 19 years of marriage they enjoyed traveling, spending time together and being with family. In the last years of Stuart s life, Kim lovingly cared for Stuart while his health declined. Stuart spent most of his professional career as a carpet sales rep and worked many years for Atlas Carpet Mills where he made many friends and enjoyed his job. Stuart received the Life Time Achievement Award from the Utah Floor Covering Association. His hobbies included sports, theater, fine dining, music and traveling. Stuart s greatest love in life was spending time with his family. He was raised in a Jewish home and he was very proud of his Jewish heritage. In his adult life Stuart converted to the LDS Church. The family would like to express its appreciation to the many doctors and nurses who lovingly cared for Stuart throughout his illness. Stuart was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim, Bountiful; 7 daughters: Natasha (Korey) Solomon, Missy (Steve) Counter, Katie Etheridge, Sierra (Chad) Emery, Michelle (Aaron) Melville, Nicole (Frank) Scmalbach and Alexis (Brendan) Stephens; 20 grandchildren who he loved; sister, Francine Mosoff Sanders. Funeral services will be held in Stuart s honor on Saturday, December 17, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah where viewings will be held Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, December 17, 2011 one hour before the service. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
