Susan Kaye Sorenson Tanner was born June 17, 1953 and passed away April 11, 2016 at the age of 62 due to complications from congestive heart failure and diabetes. Susan grew up in Kearns, Utah with her 2 sisters and graduated from Kearns High School in 1971. She went to Snow College and later transferred to Utah State University where she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Child Development. After starting her family of three children, she returned to school and obtained a degree in accounting. Susan was a devoted member of the LDS Church, and had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ as our Savior. She was an avid reader. She loved nature, animals, and growing vegetables. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, and family history. She was talented with computers and technology. She was passionate about her family and life-long learning. Survived by her children, Eric Jon (Tammy) Tanner, Rachel Kaye (Jason) Gilbert, Rebecca Joy (Eric) Williams. Preceded in death by her parents Hosea Oliver (Deon) Sorenson and Lucille Whitehead Sorenson; and sister Jayne Flint.
