Susan Wetzel-Jones

Susan Wetzel Jones, 73, of West Valley City, Utah, passed on August 05, 2023. Sue was born on January 30, 1950, in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Sue served for 15 years in the Army Reserves with the Minnesota Army National Guard and the United States Air Force Reserves in Minnesota and Arizona. She retired from US West/Qwest and also worked in the insurance and customer service industries.

Sue was a proponent of dog rescue and loved the 7 dogs she rescued throughout her life like children. She enjoyed reading, watching cooking shows, and Swedish weaving. Her collections include the Peanuts gang, teddy bears, holiday decorations and Star Wars.

Sue is survived by her husband, Daniel, her spoiled pup, Allen, her step-daughter, Jana (David), step-grandson, Alex, special friends Dan and Holly and their children Cory, Lance and Sara, and numerous family and friends.

Per Sue's wishes, there will be no services held. Sue will be interred at Fort Selling National Cemetery in Minnesota at a later date.
