“Rest Now In The Arms of Angels”
Suzie was born in Visalia, California to John and Michele Gregory. She passed away peacefully in West Jordan, Utah after a battle with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
She is survived by her mother and father, Michele and Charlie Brown, her husband of 19 years, Michael Gainer, and their five children and spouses: Greg Burke, Saranda Gainer, Danielle Huber (Shaun), Auston Gainer, Makayla Barela (Michael) and the light of her life, grandson, Oliver Hoff. Mother-In-Law Dee Gainer. Brothers: Joe Gregory (Dee), Jesse Brown (April), sister, Sarah Summerville (Ian), niece Aurora Gregory (grandnephew D’Andre), niece Angelina Summerville, nephew, Braidden Greggory Davis, her grandfather, Jesse Brown, and her best friend Heather Ruden. She had many additional family members and friends all of whom she loved dearly.
Suzie was a very dedicated, hard worker in her job/career choices. She cherished the relationships developed with each co-worker, boss, and company and always strived to excel beyond expectations. She taught her children to do the best you can and give 100%.
Suzie led a very simple life enjoying her family and home. The things that brought her joy were camping, experiencing different foods, movie night, (Annie being her favorite film), any reality tv program imaginable, family get-to-gethers, game nights with family and friends, and a large Beans and Brews Revolver (large coffee with 6 shots of expresso). She will always be remembered for her quick wit, sometime crude humor, her extreme stubbornness, and her beautiful eyes.
The family wishes to express our deepest and sincere appreciation to all the incredible individuals who work in the ICU at Holy Cross Jordan Valley Hospital, West Jordan, Utah. Thank you to the doctors and technicians, including Dr. Edwards and Dr. Hammond (Pulmonary), Nephrology, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Chaplin Brad, and especially the amazing nurses, aides, and supporting staff. Their exceptional, compassionate care and friendship will always be a cherished memory for our family.
Per Suzie’s wishes, she chose to be cremated, so there will not be a viewing or funeral. A celebration of life for her will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made in her name to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Organization.
