Tammy Jean Sparr Evans

November 27, 1964 — May 8, 2016

Tammy Jean Sparr Evans, 51, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Mother's Day, May 8, 2016, in West Jordan, Utah. Her passing was unexpected, but her legacy is present in all who had the privilege to know her. She was born November 27, 1964 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to George Wesley Sparr and Jeanna Lee Lemmon. She was raised and attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho, spending weekends at the family cabin in Palisades, where she enjoyed fishing with her dad and boating on the lake. On February 14, 1985, she was sealed to her sweetheart Aaron Dee Evans in the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, 4-wheeler riding with family, country music concerts, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and doing all she could to solve the world's problems. She worked for many years in the healthcare industry as a marketing specialist before starting her own promotions business. Her gift to the world was the care she showed for others. Many have been touched by her kindness and love. Words cannot express the deep love and devotion she had for her grandchildren. She put the needs of her family before her own and we are thankful to have been recipients of her love and tenderness. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and with her husband, adored the children they taught in primary over the past several years. Tammy is survived by her husband, Aaron; their two children, Brandon (Wendy) and Chantell; 4 grandchildren, Braxton, Delaney, Hadley and Paisley of West Jordan, Utah; father, George Sparr of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Brenda Peterson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanna Kildow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 11:00 a.m., at the LDS Chapel located at 8385 South 4800 West. Viewings will be held Friday, May 13th, 6-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to services at the church on Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
