Terence Alan Cline

August 5, 1954 — November 26, 2016

Terry Cline went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 26. Terry was a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend, he will be greatly missed. In life, Terry had a passion for vintage cars and studying Biblical prophecy. He worked for 12 years at Kennecott Copper Mine, running heavy equipment, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Terry loved animals, especially Buffy, his cat. He loved music, particularly that of the 50's and 60's. Most of all, Terry loved his family. Family getting together to enjoy a meal or fellowship with each other was Terry's favorite way to spend his time. He loved barbecues and listening to members of the family take turns telling familiar stories and funny jokes. Each Thanksgiving, he carved the turkey (and was the leader of the line for seconds). He loved watching Flip or Flop for hours, enjoyed car restoration shows, and of course the History channel. Terry was a hardworking family man, a good provider and a big part of our our family. We are especially proud of the works he did in service to the Kingdom of God. Terry is survived by his loving wife Kathy M. Cline, his sons Jared (Bonnie), Josh (Becky), Aaron (Misty), daughter Jeni, and grandchildren: Emily, Kira, Holly, Avery, Kayla, Easton and Taleah. He is also survived by his brothers Marion (Sondra), Steve, Jesse, Michael, Scott, Mark Gary and sister Kimberly, plus his niece and nephews. Terry is preceded in death by his son Jason Cline, parents Marion Jim Gary and his mother Calverna Gary. A viewing will be held Friday, December 2nd at McDougal Funeral Home located at 4330 S. Redwood Road in Taylorsville from 6:00-8:00 pm. We plan to celebrate his life during a service held at the same location on Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 am. There will also be a viewing Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask to please make a donation in the name of Terry A. Cline to The Door Church.
