With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Leon Flack on October 13, 2024, at the age of 72, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.
Born on July 13, 1952, in American Fork, Utah, to George Lincoln Flack and Evada (Gardiner) Flack, Terry lived a life filled with passion and love. In his younger years, he enjoyed ice skating, and driving/racing his 1970 green Chevelle. Terry was also devoted to caring for his ailing parents.
Terry met his soulmate, Marlane (Sheetz) Flack, in 1978, and they shared 45 wonderful years together. He was known for his incredible stories, honesty, steadfast friendship, and immense heart. His greatest passion was showing unwavering love and support to his family.
He cherished family camping trips to Crystal Springs, fishing, hunting, and shopping for deals at NPS. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Together, Terry and Marlane were active members of the Temple Riders Association, traveling across the country on their motorcycle to visit temples and do service work. Terry has always had a passion for cars and motorcycles and was very proud of his Honda Goldwing.
Terry worked as an operator for Filtrol/Engelhard from 1979 to 2000 and at USPCI from 1992 to 1997. He later joined Salt Lake City Reclamation in 2000, where he worked until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his beloved dogs, Ginger and Snickers, his parents, his sisters Judy Neff and Chelda Lunt, and his brother John Flack. He is survived by his devoted wife Marlane, his best friend Charlie, his four daughters Stacey Flack (Morris Sather), Amy Flack and David Reichman, Misty (Kenneth) Burke, and Brandi (Anthony), along with 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and his brother Delyle Flack.
"Drizzle, Drazzle, Druzzle, Drone. Time for this one to come home."
