Noel Archibald

With heavy hearts, we sadly announce a loved father, grandfather, adopted father, adopted grandpa, adopted uncle to many passed away on Thursday July 21, 2022 in his home.

Noel was an educator at heart. A career in teaching and a love for learning, sharing, and being the most positive person in the room are the trademarks he leaves behind. His warm heart, generous spirit, smile, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed.

He married Bettye Jane Appell Archibald (deceased), and later married Virginia Irene (Billie) Archibald (deceased).

Noel is survived by his children and stepchildren: Marc Archibald, Joy Mierzwinski, Brent Archibald, Glen Putnam, Dale Putnam, Barry Putnam, Melanie Tyson, and Greg Putnam.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 954 West 1100 North, North Salt Lake, Utah. A viewing will be held 10:00-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral services. Interment, at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
