Val Ernest Nelson

Val E. Nelson 1925 ~ 2012 Val Ernest Nelson, 86, passed away peacefully, May 3rd, 2012 with the ones closest to him by his side. He was born August 19th, 1925 in Fish Haven, Idaho to Andrew and Cora Howell Nelson. He married Rosene Spieler on January 17th, 1947 and spent 65 wonderful years with her. His wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his greatest joy. He had an extremely generous and giving heart and truly was the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. He lived for Jesus and shared Him with everyone that he knew or met. Val spent his last days awaiting his reunion with his son Steve and was anxious to be in the glory of our great God! Val is survived by his wife: Rosene; Son: Mark (Becky); Granddaughter: Heidi (Benji) Edmund, Jonah and Isaac; granddaughter: Chelsea (Waid) Blanton; Grandson: Nick Nelson. Preceded in death by parents, son Steve and brothers Aldo and Rulon. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 9th, 2:30 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery- 5490 S Vine St. Murray, UT .
