Vaughn D. Long Honey Babe On Sunday, November 6, 2011, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend returned to his Heavenly home. Vaughn Dee Long was born November 28, 1933 in Wallsburg, Utah to James R. and Alta Boren Long. He married Fern Baldwin; they were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. He worked for 37 years with Union Pacific Railroad and 15 years selling real estate. He loved his family, they meant everything to him. He belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 742, where he was Commander for four years and also District #2 Commander for three years. He leaves behind his wife; children: Colleen, Kay, Jim, Russell, Rebecca, Connie, Robert, Mont; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters: Colleen, Janet and Joyce; brother, Clinton. Preceded in death by son, Bill. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage 2nd Ward, 7645 South 3200 West where viewings will be held Friday, November 11, 2011, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
