Vickie Lynn Jenkins Reno

July 3, 1950 — February 6, 2018

Vickie left this earth to be joyfully received into the waiting arms of her beloved husband Ernest, who preceded her in death by only two weeks. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother; and a feisty lady with a fun sense of humor. Vickie enjoyed working with stained glass, creating beautiful works of art. She gifted many of these creations to her family, who will treasure them always. She loved spending time with family, taking the dogs for long walks or just visiting. Vickie and Ernie were devoted to each other; they were truly the center of each other's universe. Together they went on many fun road trips and vacations, sharing a love of travel until physical limitations kept them closer to home. They were always delighted to see family and catch up on everyone's adventures. Our grief at their loss is tempered by the fact that they enjoyed a wonderful life together, and are now together once again. Vickie is survived by her son Cory (Alison)Nipper; daughter Tracy (Shane)Row; stepdaughters Mimi (Dennis) Jackson and Susan Hymas; sisters Marilyn (Lynn) and Peggy (Bruce); brother Gary (Karen); and grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Ernest; sister Judy; brothers Buck and Mike; and stepson Ernie. A celebration of Vickie and Ernie's lives will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 2:00 p.m. at 1773 Teakwood Drive, in Sandy UT. Place of Birth:Salt Lake City, UtahPlace of Death:Taylorsville, Utah
