Violet Mae Andersen Bawden

Violet Mae Andersen Bawden, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully August 28, 2015. She was born April 13, 1928 to Walter Alfred Andersen and Florence Katherine Hansen. Married Henry Harris (later divorced) then married Elmo Lambert Bawden, December 8, 1978. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved gardening, decorating wedding cakes and animals, especially her dogs that she has had during her life. Survived by son Walter (Carol) Harris; daughter Connie Kilburn; stepchildren, Ilene (Paul) Humphrey, Gay (Lonny) Iverson, Jill Jorgensen, Dixie (Orin) Bawden, Keith (Shauna) Bawden; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father; mother; husband; brothers Donald and Walter; son Robin; stepdaughters Joan, Ann and Jan. Thanks to Legacy House of Taylorsville and Aspire Home Health and Hospice for their care during the past few years. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 3, 11:00 a.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
