Virginia C. Sanders

Virginia Carmen Chavez Sanders, 85, died July 26, 2015 in Murray, Utah. Born July 30, 1929 in Gunnison, Colorado, daughter of Alonzo and Irene Fernandez Chavez. Married Raymond Sanders; he preceded her in death. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Salt Lake Community College. She went to church often and loved God. Survived by children: Brant Carson, Carolyn Archuletta, Keith Carson, Carl Carson and Hannah (Dan) Marcotte; 15 grandchildren; siblings: Pauline (LaVoy) Quinn, Burley, ID; Claire (Pat) Chavez, WA; Lonnie (Elaine) Chavez, HI; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by daughter, Marlene Lyons.
