VIVIAN LEE WARNER (BARNHURST), 77,

Born to Durward J Barnhurst (Deceased) and Venice Mendenhall (Deceased) on September 13, 1946, Salt Lake City, Utah. She joined her loving Heavenly Father, March 20, 2024. She passed suddenly and unexpectedly, in her home in West Valley City, Utah.

Survived by husband Gerald Roy Warner, daughters Gail (Charles) Bowen, Cindy (Todd) Carter, Tracey (Randy) Holliday, Kristie (Shawn) Wolf; sons Daniel Roy (Lyndsi) Warner and David Thomas (Amanda) Warner. Also,15 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren for whom she loved dearly. Her siblings Beverly (Deceased), Patricia, Kevin (Deceased), Fernetta, Laura, Cynthia, Rod, Susan, Kristen, Jay, and Rebecca.

She attended West High School and later Graduated from Granger High School.

First marriage to Hugh Leo Martin Jr. (Deceased), to whom she married January 21, 1963, and divorced in 1984. Her children from this Marriage are Gail, Cindy, Tracey, and Kristie. At this time, she resided in Granger, Salt Lake, Utah. She worked at Litton Industries and later Parker Packing where she met her sweetheart Gerald to whom she married April 4, 1987.

She made a loving home for forty years in West Valley and raised two sons Daniel and David. She truly loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and made sure to remember each one on their birthday. She was a mother, homemaker and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings most notably a few years as a temple worker and as a service missionary.

Her hobbies in which she excelled, home decorating and design, flower arranging, and Cooking. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping often with her family in the Utah mountains and the back country. Her favorite activity was sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows with her grandchildren and even eating the burnt ones. She enjoyed playing card games with the family, four wheeling, shooting guns, and Mountain Man Rendezvous.

Vivian was a great example of compassion and Christ like love to all those that were lucky enough to know her. She was a loving Wife and Mother and will be sorely missed by everyone. We are grateful for her opportunity to build a relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at her ward church, 4634 W Harmon Dr (3700 S), West Valley City, UT 84120. Viewing will be 10:00am - 11:30am, funeral service 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Graveside service 1:30pm - 2:30pm at Redwood Memorial 6500 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84084
