Waldo A. Lewis Loving Husband Our wonderful husband, father and amazing grandfather, Waldo A. Lewis, 73, passed away unexpectedly August 18, 2013. He was born September 1, 1939, in Circleville, Utah, to Adelbert Levi Lewis and Sadie Norton. He grew up on the family ranch in Circleville, the seventh of ten children. He spent his summers working on the ranch, hauling hay and driving the milk truck. He loved to dance, especially at the Purple Haze. On September 26, 1958 he married his high school sweetheart, Ethelane Talbot, in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. He loved tinkering in the garage, spending time looking for deals at D.I. and was always proud of a good find. He enjoyed the simple things in life - a cold Diet Coke and a hard-shelled taco. He also loved spending time with his family and was a great example of patience, love and compassion. He always had a willingness to help others. He was our hero. He was a skilled mechanic and retired from FedEx Freight. He was great with his hands and could build or fix anything. He served faithfully in many church callings, from dedicated home teacher to a bishop. Survived by the love of his life of 55 years, children Ronald (Sylvia), Donald (Shirley), Lynanne (Don) Stephenson, Stephanie (Matt) Evans and ten grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Wendell and Jay. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Intermountain Medical Center Shock Trauma ICU and Cardiac Care ICU for their loving care of our husband, dad and grandpa. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013, 12:00 noon at the Granger 15th Ward, 2835 South 2855 West with a viewing from 11:00 - 11:45am.
