Wayne Ortega passed away July 22, 2023.

Preceded in death by his parents; Rudy Ortega and Margaret Beck.

He is survived by his three children; James (Brittney), Shauntee (Jose) and Vannessa (Michael). His grandchildren; Alyssa, Sage, Donavon, Kujin/Issac, Manuel, Julien, KayLee, Blake, Sam/Cleo, Hunter. And half brother Rudy Ortega.

Wayne was a grouchy guy but he loved with his entire soul. He'd give you anything he had if he thought it would help. On the outside Wayne seemed rough and tough but in reality, he was a funny, cuddly guy. Being around him, even when he was sick, he was always joking and laughing with everyone.

Wayne was a great dad and papa. He cared so much and he loved the best way he knew how. He was very honest, very hard working, and took pride in everything he did. He worked in a book bindery for most of his life as a Machine Operator. He always gave one hundred percent in anything he did. He was a great teacher and very patient when teaching.

Wayne loved fishing. Be it alone or with his family. He also loved his Star Trek.
