William Bill Duncan Master Photographer Bill passed from this life into the next on December 5, 2011. Bill was born November 17, 1945 in Salt Lake city, Utah to Louis William Duncan and Mae Uarda Jeppsen. Bill longed to be reunited with his parents, sister and wife, who all preceded him in death. What a joyous Christmas reunion they will all have. Bill attended and graduated from Highland High School and then served an LDS mission to Germany. Bill met and fell in love with his sweetheart, Marilyn, and together raised 3 beautiful daughters. Bill s other love in life was photography. He was introduced to wedding photography through a friend and his career was born. Bill loved to photograph brides and families outdoors. He was always looking for the next best place and had an eye to take the ordinary and turn it into a masterpiece. He was sought after to speak and teach photography around the west. Bill earned a Master of Photography degree, Photographic Craftsman degree and was a Certified Professional Photographer. He was one of the first to earn the National Award from W.P.P.I. and has won over 300 awards from this organization and others and was published in photographic books and magazines. For many years, Bill was the Director of the photography exhibits at the Utah State Fair. Photography was his passion. Bill leaves behind his 3 daughters, Cindy (Clint) Rasmussen, GayLinn (Thom) Breeze, LeAnn Owens; 10 beautiful grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Park 6th Ward, 5233 South 3200 West. Viewings will be Friday, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
