Willard K. Jensen Bill Bill passed away unexpectedly May 11, 2012. Bill was born July 29, 1941 in Carson City, Nevada to Ray and Evelyn Jensen. His family moved to Magna in 1953. Bill married Darlene Solomon on July 1, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had 3 children. Darlene passed away February 12, 1990. Bill married Carlene Reese on June 25, 1991. Bill worked for Winder Dairy and later for the LDS Church where he retired. He held many church positions and loved serving the Lord. At the time of his death he was serving in the High Priest Group Leadership, and for the past 18 years participated in a Sealing Group with his wife. A calling Bill always held dear to his heart was the 9 years he served in the Special Mutual. He served a mission with his companion, Carlene, two summers at Heber Valley Camp, which he truly loved. Bill was a gifted carpenter whose talents will be cherished by many family and friends. There was nothing he couldn t make or fix and he truly was a handy man . His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved being Dad and Grandpa! Bill s quiet strength, patience, and humility were known and appreciated by all. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. We love you! Survived by his wife, Carlene; children, Jeanene (Mike) Winn, Brian (Koami) Jensen and Kristen (Danny) Eggertz; step-children, Brenda (Randy) Hainsworth, Cindy (Corrie) Young, and Bryan Reese; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Delila) Jensen, Randy (Gaylene) Jensen, David (Colleene) Jensen; sister, Charlene (Barry) Buckner. Preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; parents and baby sister. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17, 2012, 11:00 p.m. at the Hunter 15th Ward, 5000 West Pavant Avenue (3710 South).
