William Wilford Haslam "Together Forever" Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather William (Bill) passed away peacefully at his home on May 27, 2015 surrounded by his family. A long-time resident of Hunter , William was born June 11, 1929 to Harvard Yale Haslam and Antonia Millecam, the youngest of 8 children. He is survived by his sweetheart of 65 years, Carol and their 5 children: Janice Richards (Gary), Gloria Hansen (Rex), Claudia Edvalson (George), Bruce Haslam (Jackie), Susan Murano (Michael), 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. William Wilford and Carol Dawn Rueckert were married on October 28, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple by Harold B. Lee (Later Pres. Harold B. Lee). William was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various callings. Particularly satisfying to him were the years he served as scoutmaster, stake clerk, high counselor and bishop. He loved being active and busy with refereeing high school basketball and football, golf, archery, and cooking. He will best be remembered for his service to others through his Dutch Oven Cooking and intricate woodworking projects. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, 11:00-noon at the Hunter 1st Ward 3665 South 6000 West. Friends may call on Monday, June 1, 2015, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
