Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Clair Fifield passed away at his home surrounded by his children on November 10, 2024. He was born on November 9, 1945, to Everett and Betty Fifield in Smithfield Utah.
He lived his life full of love of his family, adventure, and love of sports, including baseball, softball and golf.
He married his soulmate on February 12, 1970, at the Salt Lake City Temple. They lived a life full of adventure together. They enjoyed camping and hiking, including climbing the highest mountain in Utah -- Kings Peak. He retired from Delta airlines where he worked for 26 years. While working for the airlines, it gave him and his family the opportunity to travel to many wonderful places, including taking his children on "field trips" to Japan, Hawaii, DC, New York, and Alaska, and date nights to San Francisco and San Diego with his beloved wife. He especially loved to travel to England, where he served his LDS mission, and Scotland, where his wife was from. Scotland was a special place to him, and he loved visiting all the extended family he was a part of when he was there on his many trips.
He will be missed by so many people, and we will all miss the wonderful stories of his adventurous life that he was so fortunate to live.
Clair is survived by his children, Emily ( Clint) Burningham, Tom Fifield, Ben (Thao) Fifield. Grandchildren: Cassie, Dallon, Kiersten, Chantry, Alyssa and Evan also five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Fifield and his parents, Everett and Betty Fifield.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Harmony Health and Hospice including Kathy, McKenna, and Adela. We want to thank you for all your help during this difficult time.
